NLP – your business friend

Neuro-linguistic programming is a model which helps us achieve our goals, improve communication and change habits and behaviors in business world, everyday communication and cooperation with other people.

In our everyday work environment we cooperate with people who perceive world, events and people around them in a totally different way from our own, and have completely different perception from our own. NLP helps us bridge individual differences by recognizing the way people are thinking (Neuro), the way they communicate and the meaning of their words (Linguistic) and why they behave that way (Programming). It helps us learn to accept the behaviors which are consequence of some other way of thinking, different perception from our own. (more…)

Are you a leader?

Robert Dilts, a person who, besides Bendler and Grinder – founders of NLP, significantly contributed to NLP development, in his book Visionary Leadership Skills gives a list of basic skill categories which one leader should possess. Leadership skills refer to relationships he creates on everyday basis: self-management skills, interaction skills, skills related to system, goal achieving skills – personal or team goals in the same system. NLP – Young entrepreneur’s success story

You are not sure what you really want? Where is your job going? How to achieve certain business goals?

NLP can give you answers to all these questions.

One of the participants of NLP Practitioner training shared his experience with us.

“NLP is like a ghost from the lamp which comes out when you rub it and makes your wish come true like a gold fish“. NLP is like a tool of artisans – the more effort you invest when working on it, your mastery of the tool will be better”. (more…)

What if motivation starts to drop?

Each of us has goals that they want to achieve, but it often happens that we cannot reach these goals. Reasons of this frequent occurrence can be that: we did not defined our goals well, we may not be aware of the resources that we need to achieve the objectives, we don’t know what we need to do in order to achieve the goal, and sometimes motivation is not on a sufficiently high level.

Motivation is usually at a satisfactory level when we are setting our goals and in a short period after setting goals. However, for motivation to consistently be at a high level it is necessary to have a broader picture of the goal, the required resources and action steps to achieve it. (more…)

Leader and Vision

Where does the desire to become a leader come from? What is it that drives us and takes us forward?

It is believed that people are driven by two things, either the intolerable state they are currently in or an idea, a vision or a goal that are challenging enough to launch them in the direction they think will bring them a life that is worth living.

The need for challenge, game and adventure is a locomotive that pulls forward in the areas of science, all kinds of art, or even the economy. Our imagination, dreams and faith in change is what leads the whole civilization forward, as it has always been the case. (more…)

Increase your confidence!

The best way to increase your self-confidence is to be more competent at what you do!

A large number of people feel that it’s enough to visualize yourself as a person who has self-confidence and will that entering the skin of this person will solve the problem. However, in this way you remain the same.

Where should you focus your attention to gain greater confidence? (more…)

Goals, and how to reach them

We have all the resources needed to make a change. (NLP principle)

What usually happens when we do not achieve the goals that we have set for ourselves, when our goals elude us or when we live a life we are not satisfied with? Usually we tend to accuse other people or the environment, the country in which we live, the time in which we create something (30 years ago it was easier, right?), or we blame ourselves. All in all, we look for a million reasons why we have not managed to achieve something that is important to us and we strive for, and we allow our goals to get away. (more…)

Do you have enough emotional skills to be a leader?

In a previous article we talked about basic skills that a leader should possess, and we have listed four basic and most important categories of skills: self-management, relational skills, strategic thinking and systematic thinking skills.

As skills of self-management we would consider:

  1. Behavior in a particular context
  2. Emotional self-control
  3. Managing personal beliefs and values
  4. The question of identity – who am I in the system?
  5. A sense of personal mission and purpose

In this article, we will elaborate on emotional self-control. (more…)
